Charles J. Pilliod, Jr.

Charles J. Pilliod, Jr. (born October 20, 1918)[1] was an American diplomat. His ambassadorial post was in Mexico from 1986 to 1989.[2] Pilliod had also been the CEO of the Goodyear tire company[3] for 42 years before retiring in 1983. He served in World War II from 1942 to 1945 as a pilot in the 20th Air Force.[4]
